Cancellations
We offer free cancellation until 12:00 hours (noon) the day prior to arrival; in the event on a no-show, or cancellation on the day of arrival, the first night of the stay will be chargeable.

Payment & Incidentals

Full payment for your booking is received at check-in. Please note we require a credit or debit card on file, if not already provided at time of booking. Card details can be submitted by you, the booker, via our secure payment site here: https://uga.la/vDf9kSPb or via QR code on arrival.

We reserve the right to refuse check-in if guests do not comply. We reserve the right to charge the card on file provided by you, the booker, for incidentals, theft or damage occurred during your stay.

Card details will be deleted from our secure payment site after all incidentals are settled, unless agreed by the card holder to retain card details for future use.

Check- In and Check -Out time

Our check in time is from 15:00 hours and check out is by 11:00. An early or a late check out can be arranged subject to availability and will incur an additional charge of £10 per hour. Please inform the hotel in advance if you wish to check in after 22:00 hours.

Extra Beds/Cots

Children of any age are welcome. Children under 2 can stay free of charge, and cots can be hired for a small additional nightly charge. Children aged 2 to 15 will be charged if a z-bed is required. Cots and z-beds are subject to availability. To book an additional cot or bunk please contact reception on 01475 723316.

Room Damage & Smoking

The hotel is a non-smoking premises. Anyone found smoking will be subject to a £75.00 room cleaning fee and asked to vacate the hotel. Any other damage found to a room will result in charges up to £200 and/or removal from the premises.

Taxes and Service charges

VAT is included in your room rate and there is no service charge.

Special Requests & Medical Issues

If you any special requests, we will try our best to accommodate them. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements and we will endeavour to try our best to accommodate them. If you would require Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEPS) assistance in the event of a fire evacuation, please inform reception at check in.

Pets

We only accept assistance animals, please let us know at time of booking if an assistance animal will be staying with you.

Group Bookings

All bookings of 10 rooms or more are classed as a group booking. We require a complete room list and full payment 2 weeks prior to arrival. Any changes after this time may result in additional charges.

External Wedding Parties

We are proud to host weddings at the Tontine Hotel. Due to wedding exclusivity wherein weddings taking place at the hotel secure use of the venue for the day, any external wedding parties wishing to use the venue to get ready, or for photo opportunities, must be pre-arranged with the hotel at time of booking. Failure to declare so may result in refusal of entry on arrival.

Occupancy

The maximum occupancy for our rooms is 2 adults and when required 1 child. Family Rooms are available if pre-arranged with the hotel directly. You are not to exceed the maximum occupancy level per room. The hotel management reserve the right to conduct checks on occupancy.
